Patriot Industrial Partners is excited that Alan Young has joined the team as an Executive Advisor. 

Boasting 38 years of experience in OEM, Tier 1, and sub-tier supply chain management, Alan is a distinguished executive with expertise in aerospace and related sectors. His career encompasses leadership roles in large-scale factory operations, safety enhancements, operational and make/buy strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Formerly serving as Chief Procurement Officer and Senior VP of Fabrication at Spirit Aerosystems, Alan has also held leadership positions and led manufacturing and site operations at Bombardier Aerospace and Vought Aircraft Company. His global career has taken him to various locations across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.

Alan earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Queen’s University Belfast and a master's degree in manufacturing management from the University of Ulster. He is also certified in production and inventory management by APICS. Additionally, Alan has served on the Board of Eclipse Aviation.

Since the global economic downturn in 2020, A&D companies have experienced working capital constraints, challenges with the ability to meet increasing airframer production rates, and a supply and demand misalignment. This environment has presented an opportunity for Patriot Industrial Partners to strengthen its business strategy enabling its clients to realize optimal industrial performance. The addition of Alan Young to Patriot's leadership team will fast-track the company's implementation of industrially transformative solutions with its clients.
